Flex-Fuel

Flexible Performance

What is E85? It's a motor fuel blend of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline. Ethanol is a completely renewable, domestic, environmentally friendly fuel that enhances the nation's economy and energy independence.

Due to its prevalence in the U.S., corn is the main crop utilized for ethanol production. However, several other crops can be used. And when used, E85 creates little to no emissions at the tail pipe, which means cleaner air and a reduction in pollution.

When you go to fuel your vehicle, you'll notice the cap is yellow. This denotes the fact that you have a flex-fuel engine. Flex-Fuel vehicles may be filled with gasoline, E85 or any combination of the two. A fill-up of one or the other is not required.
